He’s the Indoor European champion at Belgrade (2017), silver and bronze medalist at the World Championships in London (2017) and Doha (2019) respectively, and the current Polish pole-vault record holder and now Olimp Team member. Help us welcome Piotr Lisek to the Olimp Team! Welcome on board!
Piotr Lisek is a pole-vaulter representing Poland in Olympics. He embarked on his prominent career back in 2006 when his talents were first noticed. His perseverance, discipline, determination, hard work, and strong will to win lead him to the summit in 2017, when in Belgrade, during the European Indoor Championships he won gold with a phenomenal vault of 5.85 meters.
Just few months after his triumph in Belgrade, our champion vaulted even higher. He reached the 5.89 meters what landed him a second place and a silver medal at the World Championships in London. Just last year, Lisek repeated the 5.85 m score from Belgrade at the European Indoor Championships in Glasgow, once again taking silver.
In addition to his successes on the international arena, Piotr has many considerable achievements at the national level. This multi-medalist is also the current record holder of our country in pole vault, both indoors and outdoors. In 2017 in Potsdam, during the indoor competition, he finally joined the illustrious 6-metre Club, vaulting exactly 6 meters, which is the eighth highest result in the history of world athletics! But he did not end there, two years later at the athletics stadium in Monaco, Lisek once again beat his record and vaulted 6.02 meters!
We believe that this is just the beginning of a great career of this fine Polish athlete. We keep our fingers crossed for more success and breaking further records, of which we will keep you updated on Facebook and Instagram. Make sure you follow us @OlimpSportNutritio
